Punjabi Mahasabha is a non-political social organization and it would work to integrate the community and work for preservation of Punjabi culture and values. Punjabi Mahasabha will strive to develop the society as a positive opinion building platform to project and cultivate people to people program for social, environmental and cultural awareness and proper value representation at all forums.
Punjabi Mahasabha proposes to establish Units of Society at District and Block level. The Society has an objective to enroll five lakh members and build a self motivated organization to work towards achievement of objectives of the society.
Create awareness about achievement and sacrifices by people of Punjabi community for the country, culture and religion. Promote national integration feelings amongst people.
Create a suitable MEMORIAL in remembrance of millions of people of Punjabi community who sacrificed their life, family, worldly possession as a result of Indian partition in 1947. The objectives are:
- A living memorial to the Partition so that its trauma remains fresh in the national memory;
- To provide a powerful lesson to citizens and leaders of the dangers of unchecked communalism;
- To cultivate our national values of love, tolerance and secularism;
- To prevent further break-up of the country.
Punjabi Mahasabha proposes to approach and enlist eminent persons in the field of Social Activism, Agriculture, Industry, Education, Culture, Art, Science and Democratic Process to actively participate in preserving, highlighting and promoting PUNJABI Culture and Values and in furthering the Aims and Objectives of the society, and helping in achieving right people their rightful position in society in general.
Work generally for betterment of Society, Healthcare, Education, Enhancing employability skills of youth, Environment protection etc.
